Head Constable Arrested for Raping a Woman in Delhi

New Delhi: A head constable named Balwainder of the Delhi police was arrested for allegedly raping a woman in the Jahangirpuri area of North West Delhi.

According to sources, the complainant and the accused were known to each other. He had asked her to come to the Mahendra Park station area where he raped her.

The accused policeman was posted in the battalion of Delhi Police.

Further investigation into the matter is underway.

On Sunday in a separate incident, another head constable of the Delhi Police was arrested by Crime Branch police for killing a woman constable two years back and hiding her body in a drain.
