Imran Khan & His Wife Indicted by Pak Court in Toshkhana Graft Case

Imran Khan received another jolt before the general elections as Pakistan’s anti-corruption court on Tuesday indicted him and his wife Bushra Bibi in the Toshakhana graft case.

Judge Muhammad Bashir of the Islamabad-based Accountability Court conducted the hearing of the case filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), in the Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi where Khan is jailed.

Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi were present when the charges were read. They pleaded not guilty.

According to the case, Imran Khan and his wife received 108 gifts from various heads of state, out of which they kept 58 gifts. The gifts included a jewellery set given from the Saudi Crown Prince which they allegedly kept with them instead of depositing it in the Toshakhana.
