In Odisha BJP Leads in 78 Assembly Seats, BJD in 54, Congress in 11

Bhubaneswar: As per the data provided by the Election Commission of India (ECI), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was leading by 78 seats in Odisha assembly elections.

The ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) was leading in 54 seats while Congress was leading in 11 seats.

The CPI (M) was leading in one seat and Independent candidates were leading in two seats. One of those leading independent candidates is Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, former editor of the Sambad, who contested from Ghasipura Assembly seat.
