India Level Series with Jemimah Rodrigues’ Heroics in 2nd ODI Against Bangladesh

Dhaka: India levelled the three-match women’s ODI series against Bangladesh with a convincing 108-run victory at the Shere Bangla National Stadium.

Batting first, India posted 228 for eight, thanks to impressive fifties by Jemimah Rodrigues (86 off 78 balls) and skipper Harmanpreet Kaur (52 off 88 balls). Smriti Mandhana (36) and Harleen Deol (25) also contributed significantly.

In response, Bangladesh struggled and were bowled out for 120 in 35.1 overs. Fargana Hoque (47) and Ritu Mondal (27) were the top scorers for the hosts. Jemimah Rodrigues showcased her all-around skills, taking four wickets along with her brilliant fifty.

The third and final ODI is scheduled for Saturday. India will aim to clinch the series with another strong performance.
