John Wick Director & The Hunger Games Producer to Remake Bollywood Thriller ‘Kill’

Director of John Wick, Chad Stahelski’s 87Eleven Entertainment and Lionsgate have joined hands for a remake of the upcoming Bollywood action film ‘Kill’. This was published by American entertainment magazine Deadline and later confirmed by Dharma Productions on Monday.

This big news comes ahead of Kill’s theatrical release on July 5.

Stahelski said, “Kill is one of the most vivid, wild, and creative action movies I’ve seen recently. Nikhil delivers relentless action sequences that need to be seen by as wide an audience as possible.” he said.

Lionsgate is known for its action franchises like John Wick and The Hunger Games.

‘Kill’ is directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment

Kill was nominated for the People’s Choice Midnight Madness Award at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival.

Its story is about Amrit (Lakshya), a soldier who races against time to stop his girlfriend Tulika (Tanya Maniktala) from a forced marriage. Their journey on a train takes a deadly turn when ruthless robbers take over the entire train. Amrit turns the protector of the passengers.
