Lakhs Worth Medicines, Equipment Gutted in Major Fire at Boudh Dist Headquarters Hospital

Boudh: On Wednesday night, a major fire accident at the medicine godown of Boudh District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in Odisha destroyed medicines and equipment worth lakhs of rupees.

Investigation is on to ascertain the reason behind this fire yet it is suspected that an electrical short circuit triggered this mishap.

Firefighters had to struggle for several hours to extinguish the blaze. But by then, medicines and equipment worth several lakhs of rupees were reduced to ashes.

As the fire accident happened at night when no one was present inside, there were no reports of any casualties.
