Maoists Hang 2 Men in Chhatisgarh Accusing Them to be “Police Informers”

Raipur: Maoists hanged two men to death at remote Jappemarka village under Mirtur police station limits in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh.

According to police sources, these inhuman killings by the Naxalites occurred on Tuesday. According to initial reports, Maoists abducted three villagers, including a school student, from Jappemarka village on Tuesday.

The abducted trio was produced before a kangaroo court of the Maoists and later two of them were hanged to death from a tree. The school student was released by the violent vagrants.

The deceased villagers were identified as Madvi Suja and Podiam Kosa.

Maoists’ Bhairamgarh area committee has claimed responsibility for the murder claiming that the killed duo was acting as police informers.

After receiving information about the incident on Thursday, a police team reached the spot for investigation.
