Maoists Kill BJP Leader in Chattisgarh’s Bijapur

Raipur: A 40-year-old BJP worker, Kailash Nag, who was also a contractor, was hacked to death and his JCB machine was burnt down by a group of Maoists in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district on Wednesday evening. Nag, was divisional vice-president of BJP’s traders’ cell.

At the time of the Maoist attack, the forest department was using the JCB machine of Nag to dig a pond in the forest. They set fire to the excavator and searched out Nag, who was hacked to death with axes.

On Saturday, another BJP leader Tirupati Katla from Toyenar village was murdered by Naxalites.
