Miscreants Use Gas Cutter to Loot Over Rs 10 Lakh from SBI ATM in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A group of unidentified miscreants used a gas cutter to loot over Rs 10 lakh from an ATM of the State Bank of India (SBI) at Hatasahi under Lingaraj police station limits in Bhubaneswar on Sunday night.

Although some locals called up the police seeing suspicious activities near the ATM kiosk, the miscreants managed to escape with the cash before the arrival of the cops.

According to bank officials, around Rs 10.59 lakh was stolen from the ATM.

The miscreants sprayed some chemicals on the lenses of CCTV cameras to make them defunct.

Police have started investigating to identify and track down the miscreants involved in this ATM loot.
