Odisha Assembly Results: Naveen Patnaik Trails in Kantabanji, Maintains Lead in Hinjili

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister and BJD president Naveen Patnaik is facing a setback in the Kantabanji Assembly constituency as per latest Election Commission of India (ECI) data.

After 21 rounds of counting, he trails behind BJP candidate Laxman Bag by 10,460 votes, with Naveen garnering 56,765 votes compared to Bag’s 67,225 votes.

Meanwhile, sitting Congress MLA Santosh Singh Saluja is in third place with 20,757 votes.

However, Naveen maintains a lead in his home constituency, Hinjili, over BJP candidate Sisir Kumar Mishra by 3950 votes after 12 rounds of counting.
