Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) released the Plus 2 results for Arts, Science, and Commerce streams simultaneously on Sunday. The announcement was made at a press conference held at the CHSE office in Bhubaneswar. Detailed results are available on the official website, www.orissaresults.nic.in.
The pass percentages for Arts, Science, and Commerce were 80.95%, 86.93%, and 82.27% respectively. Vocational education recorded a pass percentage of 68.02%.
The CHSE highlighted that female students outshone male students across all streams. In the Science stream, where the overall pass percentage was 86.93%, 1,15,895 students appeared for the exams, and 1,00,757 passed. The breakdown by gender revealed that 60,973 boys appeared with an 86.21% pass rate (52,567 passed), while 54,922 girls appeared with an 87.74% pass rate (48,190 passed).
Additionally, 798 students cleared the exams in the compartmental category. Impressively, 292 higher secondary schools achieved a 100% pass rate.
