PM Modi’s Acrid Attack on BJD Govt in Behampur, Claims BJP CM to Take Oath in Odisha on June 10

Berhampur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi came down sharply on the ruling BJD in Odisha during his address at a public meeting in Berhampur on Monday.

The PM declared that June 4 is BJD’s expiry date.

“After the declaration of results on June 4, the BJP’s CM candidate will be finalised on June 6 and on June 10, the BJP’s CM will take oath and I have come to give an invitation to you all to attend the sworn-in ceremony,” said PM Modi.

He claimed that in Odisha, BJD is sinking, Congress is nowhere and people have faith in the BJP. BJP is the only ray of hope for the people as Congress ruled for 50 years and then BJD government for 25 years, he said.

He reiterated that there will be a double-engine government in Odisha for the first time as according to him BJP is set to win the Odisha Assembly polls as well as the Lok Sabha elections. PM Modi claimed that the BJP does what it says. Hence, after coming to power in Odisha, the party will implement the promises in the manifesto and it is ‘Modi Ki Guarantee’, he said.

He took up the issues like rampant labour migration, dearth of doctors in hospitals, lack of educational facilities, inadequate number of cold storages and drinking water facilities, to attack the BJD government in the state.

He claimed that his government released Rs 3.5 lakh crore to Odisha in past 10 years.

He criticized the Odisha government for not implementing the the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
