Radiologist Arrested for Cheating Private Hospital of Rs 31 Lakh

Bhubaneswar: A radiologist named Narayan Behera, who was earlier an employee of a private hospital was arrested by personnel of the Bharatpur police station for allegedly defrauding the private hospital of Rs 31 lakh.

Narayan has been absconding since April this year. According to a complaint lodged against him by the private hospital authorities, he had collected money amounting to Rs 31 lakh from patients and had not deposited the same in the hospital’s account.

Narayan was arrested on Friday from his village Sisua under 42 Mouza police station limits in Cuttack. Police recovered Rs 34,000 from him.
