Rajesh Pravakar Patil Appointed New Commissioner of BMC in Place of Kulange

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government on Saturday appointed Rajesh Pravakar Patil as the new Commissioner for the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).

As per a circular issued by the General Administration Department, incumbent Commissioner Vijay Amruta Kulange has been replaced by 2005 batch IAS, Rajesh Pravakar Patil.

Patil, who is at present the Commissioner cum Secretary to Government, Co-operation Department has the additional charge of Special Secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department.

“Rajesh Pravakar Patil is hereby posted as Commissioner Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation. Patil is allowed to remain in additional charge of Commissioner cum Secretary to Government, Co-operation Department and Special Secretary Housing & Urban Development Department, Bhubaneswar,” the official circular stated.

Kulange is on leave for a month. His posting details will be confirmed after his return.
