Ratan Tata Produced a Film Starring Amitabh Bachchan!

Mumbai: It is a little-known fact that the legendary industrialist and philanthropist Ratan Tata, who passed away on Wednesday, was also a film lover and produced a Bollywood movie.

Ratan Tata was the co-producer of the movie named Aetbaar starring Amitabh Bachchan, John Abraham and Bipasha Basu. This romantic psychological thriller was directed by Vikram Bhatt.

Ratan Tata co-produced Aetbar along with Jatin Kumar. Aetbaar was inspired by the 1996 Hollywood film ‘Fear’.

Ratan Tata was involved in its production under the banner of Tata BSS. The film was about the dark world of romantic obsession.

But although having a stellar cast including Amitabh Bachchan, the film failed at the box office.
