Ravi Bishnoi Soars to No.1 in ICC T20I Bowler Rankings After Impressive Australia Series

Indian spinner Ravi Bishnoi has secured the top spot in the latest ICC T20I bowler rankings with an impressive 699 rating points, surpassing Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan. Bishnoi, previously at fifth place with 665 ratings, showcased exceptional performances during the India vs Australia T20I series, where India secured a 4-1 victory.

Meanwhile, Ruturaj Gaikwad maintained his position in the top 10 batters’ chart, currently standing as the No.7 ranked T20I batter globally. Gaikwad emerged as the leading run-scorer in the series, accumulating 223 runs in five games, including a century.

Suryakumar Yadav retained his status as the top-ranked T20I batter with an impressive 855 rating points, surpassing Mohammad Rizwan at second place with 787 ratings.

Axar Patel made significant strides in the all-rounders’ list, securing the 14th spot with 127 rating points, a notable ascent from being outside the top 20 previously.

In the series, Bishnoi was phenomenal with the ball, claiming nine wickets in five matches and equalling Ravichandran Ashwin’s record for the most wickets by an Indian in a T20I series.
