Re-Polling Continues in 2 Booths of Kantamal Assembly Constituency

Boudh: Re-polling continues in two booths in the Kantamal Assembly constituency of Odisha’s Kandhamal district on Thursday.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) had ordered re-polling at two booths of Kantamal assembly segment under Kandhamal Lok Sabha constituency of Odisha.

In a post on X, the Chief Electoral Officer, Odisha, informed that re-polling is being held in Booth No 26, 28 of Kantamal on Thursday and people can cast their votes from 7 AM to 4 PM.

The Collectors of both Boudh and Kandhamal districts have been directed to make voters and candidates of the constituency aware of the re-polling.

The ECI decided to conduct re-polling at these two booths following the allegation of booth rigging during the second phase of elections in Odisha on May 20.

Adequate police security is at place at these two booths for smooth and fair polling.
