Reliance Jio Revises ₹349 Plan for Better Value Amidst Price Hikes

Reliance Jio has announced an update to its Rs. 349 prepaid recharge plan, following recent price hikes across its various daily, monthly, and annual plans.

The telecom giant revealed the revision via its official X (formerly Twitter) account, highlighting the plan, now branded as “Hero 5G”.

Despite maintaining the daily data limit at 2GB, the two-day extension increases the total data allowance from 56 GB to 60 GB. Additionally, subscribers in Jio’s True 5G service areas can enjoy unlimited 5G internet access with this plan.

Previously priced at Rs. 299, the Rs. 349 plan reflects Jio’s response to user input, though the company has not disclosed if other plans will undergo similar revisions.

Earlier this month, Jio hiked the prices of several other plans. The Rs. 209 monthly plan now costs Rs. 249, the Rs. 666 plan with 1.5GB daily data for 84 days rose to Rs. 799, and the annual Rs. 2,999 plan with 2.5GB daily data was hiked to Rs. 3,599. Data add-on packs and postpaid plans also saw price increases.
