School Teacher Shows Porn, Molests 6 Girls of Class 8; Arrested in Maharashtra

Mumbai: While the sexual abuse of two girls in Badlapur’s private school is rocking Maharashtra, a 42-year-old schoolteacher was arrested in the Akola district of the state for repeatedly molesting six Class 8 girl students.

He was allegedly molesting these girls over the past four months. He was also forcing the victims to watch porn. According to the police, the arrested accused Pramod Sardar was showing porn videos to the victims on his mobile phone before touching them inappropriately.

The accused was serving at the Zilla Parishad school at Kazikheda village and he was involved in this ghastly act on tehg school premises.

His misdeed came to the fore when one of the victims dared to call the 1098 child helpline. It led to an inquiry by the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) on Tuesday.

The CWC members spoke with the girls of class 8 of the school and the victims informed that they were being molested by the teacher for the last four months.

After getting the girls’ testimony, the CWC members called up the police and Pramod Sardar was arrested. He was booked him under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and other relevant sections of the BNS.
