Stabbing Rampage by 22-Yr-Old in US, 4 dead, 7 injured

Four persons died and seven others were injured when a youth went on a stabbing spree across multiple locations in northern Illinois in the US.

The 22-year-old assailant was taken into custody by the police. The police are investigating the motive of the attack and ruled out more suspects involved in the case.

The victims who were killed in the stabbings were identified as a 15-year-old girl, a 63-year-old woman, a 49-year-old man and a 22-year-old man. The police did not release their names.

Redd, the Rockford Police Chief, said not all the victims had stab wounds and none were shot.

She called on the residents in the area to check their home surveillance camera footage for anything related to the stabbings.
