“Stolen” Diesel-Loaded Container Trucks Gutted in Paradip Fire Accident

Paradip: Two container trucks, allegedly filled with stolen diesel, caught fire and were reduced to ashes in a major fire accident in a warehouse located near Paradip Phosphates Limited (PPL) square in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district.

This major fire accident happened in the wee hours of Wednesday.

Six fire tenders from Kujang and Paradip Fire Services fought for over three hours to extinguish the blaze. But by that time both container trucks were turned to ashes.

The cause of fire is yet to be ascertained. Personnel of Kujang police station reached the spot to start an investigation. Locals said this fire accident has brought to the fore the continuing diesel and petrol theft racket in Paradip.
