Stray Bull Kills Aged Woman, Injures 5 Others in Koraput Dist

Jeypore: An elderly woman named P. Rabanamma (78) was killed and five others were injured in a stray bull attack in Jeypore town of Koraput district on Wednesday.

Rabanamma was attacked by the bull while she was on her way to the market. Seriously injured Rabanamma died during treatment in a hospital.

At least five others from Paninalasahi and Kelasahi were injured by this bull.

On Wednesday, personnel of the local civic body, Fire Brigade, and Animal Resources Development department tracked down the violent stray bull and tranquilized it. The bull was then shifted to a cow shelter.
