Student of OUAT Crushed by Speeding Truck in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A 19-year-old student of Odisha University of Technology and Research (OUAT) was run over by a speeding truck near Vani Vihar in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday morning.  The deceased was identified as Pratyuparna Das, a first-year BTech student at OUAT, Bhubaneswar.

As per reports, the deceased was speaking on his phone while driving his bike when the truck crushed him on the over-bridge at Rasulgarh Square and escaped from the spot.

Angry locals blocked the road at the accident spot causing a a huge traffic jam from Rasulgarh to Vanivihar. After receiving information, police reached the spot and cleared the traffic jam.
