Sudarshan Patnaik Creates World’s Largest Lord Ram Sand Sculpture in Ayodhya

Ayodhya: Renowned Odia sand artist Padma Shree awardee Sudarshan Pattanaik and his seven students crafted the world’s largest sand sculpture of Lord Shri Ram and the Ayodhya Ram Mandir near Saryu Guest House in Ayodhya.

“We have crafted the massive sand sculpture to celebrate the consecration of the Ram Lalla idol at Ayodhya temple,” Patnaik said.

The huge sand sculpture is 55-foot-long, 23-foot-tall, and 35-foot-wide. It has 500 miniature replicas of Ayodhya Ram Mandir. Images of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are on either side of the sand sculpture.

On Sunday, the World Records Book of India declared it as the world’s largest sand sculpture of Lord Ram.

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Aditya Nath visited the Ram Katha Park on Sunday and took a selfie with the sand sculpture.
