Terror Module Busted in J&K’s Baramulla, 3 LeT Associates Arrested

Srinagar: Three alleged associates of the proscribed terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) were arrested in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla.

Acting on intelligence input, the Baramulla Police and security forces nabbed the three accused in Old Town Baramulla. Three grenades were seized grenades from their possession.

Informing about the arrest of the accused, Baramulla Police posted on X, “Terror module busted in old town Baramulla-Police arrests 3 terrorist associates of LeT outfit, Grenades recovered.”

The arrested persons were identified as Owais Ahmad Waza, Basit Fayaz Kaloo and Faheem Ahmad Mir. They were assisting LeT terrorists and providing them with information about security force movements. They were booked under several sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), police said.
