Terrorist Killed in Encounter Jammu & Kashmir’s Shopian

Srinagar: One terrorist was reportedly killed in an exchange of fire with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district on Thursday morning.

This encounter occurred in the Kathohalen area. The dead was identified as Myser Ahmad Dar, an active member of the terror outfit The Resistance Front (TRF).

Receiving information about the presence of TRF terrorists, security forces personnel launched a cordon and search operation in the Kathohalan area of the south Kashmir district.

When the militants fired upon the security personnel, the forces retaliated, ensuing an exchange of fire, in which the terrorist was killed.
