Thunderstorms Expected to Provide Respite in Heatwave Suffering Odisha

Bhubaneswar: There may be some respite from the intense heatwave continuing in Odisha for around three weeks the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday predicted that there will be a considerable drop in the maximum temperature in Odisha in the coming days.

In a post on X, the IMD forecasted the possibility of the rise of thunderstorm activities in different parts of Odisha in the next two days.

The thunderstorm-related weather change is likely to bring down the maximum temperatures by 3 to 5 degrees in Odisha.

The IMD has predicted thunderstorm activities in several coastal and adjoining districts in the next 24 hours.
