2 College Students Meet Watery Grave in Chitrotpala River in Cuttack Dist

Cuttack: Two college students drowned while bathing in the  Chitrotpala River at Jalahari village near Salipur in Odisha’s Cuttack district.

As per reports, the two deceased were among a group of five friends, who went to have bath in the Chitrotpala River on Monday afternoon. But two of them were swept away by the river current.

The deceased were identified as Zeeshan Khan and Reehan Khan of Mirzapur and Kanpur villages respectively.

Getting information about the incident, personnel of the fire services from Salipuras well an ODRAF team started a search operation. The bodies of the missing youths were recovered at late night on Monday.
