Truck-Bike Collision Claims Lives of 3 Including 2 Class 1 Students in Keonjhar

Keonjhar: Three persons including two children studying in class 1 died when the bike on which they were travelling was hit by a speeding truck from behind near DAV school in Joda of Keonjhar district on Monday morning.

The deceased have been identified as Krishna Bhusal, his son Nikit Bhusal, and another child Ganesh. They were inhabitants of Ajad Basti in Joda. Nikit and Ganesh were Class 1 students.

According to reports, Bhusal along with his son Nikit and his friend Ganesh were on their way to the DAV school on a bike when the truck hit them from behind. After causing the accident the truck escaped from the spot.

The three victims died on the spot. After the accident, the locals staged a road blockade demanding immediate action and adequate compensation.

Police officials rushed to the spot and have initiated an investigation to track down the accident causing truck and its driver.
