Trump Escapes 2nd Assassination Attempt, AK Rifle Recovered from His Golf Course

Donald Trump escaped another assassination bid. According to the FBI, it “appears to be an attempted assassination” at his golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Sunday.

Nine weeks back, the former president and the Republican presidential nominee survived another attempt on his life. Trump is safe and well.

A man has been arrested in relation to this second assassination attempt on Trump.

US Secret Service agents noticed the muzzle of an AK-style rifle while Trump was playing golf on Sunday. The gunman dropped the rifle and fled in an SUV, when an agent fired at him. The man was later nabbed by law enforcement in a neighbouring county.

On July 13, Trump was shot during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, and a bullet grazed his ear.

In an email to supporters, Trump said: “There were gunshots in my vicinity, but before rumours start spiralling out of control, I wanted you to hear this first: I AM SAFE AND WELL!” He wrote: “Nothing will slow me down. I will NEVER SURRENDER!”
