Two Indians Among 12 Dead as Bus falls Into River in Nepal

At least 12 persons including two Indians were killed in a road accident in the Dang District of mid-western Nepal at late night on Friday.

The accident took place overnight at Bhalubang as a bus travelling to Kathmandu from Banke’s Nepalgunj veered off the bridge and fell into the Rapti River. The identity of eight deceased passengers, which includes two Indians, has been ascertained.

The Indian deceased were identified as Yogendra Ram (67) from Malahi of Bihar and Mune (31) from Uttar Pradesh.

Twenty-two others were also injured in this bus accident.
