Two Odia Doctors Missing in Kerala Landslide, Their Wives Rescued

Bhubaneswar: Two doctors from Odisha are reported to be missing following the devastating landslides in Kerala’s Wayanad.

But their wives have been rescued. Both women are being treated at a temporary medical centre.

The missing doctors are Dr. Bishnu Prasad Chinra from Choudwar and his friend Dr. Swadhin Panda.

According to reports, Bishnu, his wife Priyadharini and Dr. Swadhin Panda and his wife Swikruti left Bengaluru for Kerala on July 26. After reaching Wayanad, they stayed at Linara Villa. Unfortunately during the landslides, both physicians went missing.

Meanwhile, the Office of the Chief Minister in a post on ‘X’ informed that as per the information of the Kerala State Disaster Management Authority, two Odia individuals are still missing while two rescued are under medical treatment. The Odisha government is in touch with the local administration in Kerala for updates regarding the missing Odias.
