Website of Canadian Armed Forces Hacked by Indian Hackers!

Canadian Armed Forces’ official website was temporarily disabled for some time on Wednesday. A group of hackers called ‘Indian Cyber Force’, claimed responsibility on X for the cyber attack, reported The Telegraph.

The disruption began around noon and was rectified later. During this time period, some desktop users were able to access the site, but most mobile devices could not, according to The Globe and Mail report.

The Indian Cyber Force, in a post on X, announced that the “Canadian Airforce Website has been taken down” and shared a screenshot of the error message on the website.

The Canadian Forces are currently investigating the issue.

The Indian Cyber Force had previously threatened Canada on September 21, warning via social media of its attacks on Canadian cyberspace.

This cyberattack came amid the diplomatic standoff between India and Canada after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, levelled allegations against India over Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar’s death. India rejected the allegations, calling them “absurd”.
