Wild Elephant Kills One in Balangir District

Balangir: Another life was lost in the elephant-human conflict in Balangir district. In a recent incident, an elephant attack occurred at Malapada village near Kantabanji town.

The deceased was identified as Dileshwar Patel, a resident of Malapada village.

In the early morning on Tuesday, Dileshwar came face to face with a stray wild elephant, while he was on his way to his agricultural field. The wild elephant trampled him to death.
