Youth Found Dead in Girlfriend’s House in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A youth was discovered dead at his girlfriend’s house in the Sisupalgarh area on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar on Tuesday. He was found hanging inside the house of the woman.

The deceased Papuni Swain, hailed from the Nimapara area in the Puri district and was a worker with the Public Health Engineering Organisation (PHEO).

According to locals, he was in a relationship with a woman from Sisupalgarh and used to visit her house. As per reports, the couple allegedly had an altercation on Monday and after that, the youth hanged him with a dupatta of the woman inside the room.

On receiving information, personnel of the Dhauli police station reached the spot to recover the body and sent it to the Capital Hospital for autopsy.

An investigation is on to ascertain the reason behind the death.
