BYJU’s CEO Arjun Mohan Resigns 6 Months After Taking Charge

New Delhi: BYJU’s India CEO Arjun Mohan resigned on Monday only six months after he took charge.

Now Byju Raveendran will oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, while Mohan will take up an advisory role outside the company.

“This reorganisation marks the start of BYJU’S 3.0 – a leaner and more agile organisation ready to quickly adapt to evolving market dynamics, especially in the realm of hyper-personalized education,” said Byju Raveendran, Founder and Group CEO.

“By focusing on our core strengths with three specialised business units, we will unlock new growth opportunities while continuing to focus on profitability,” he added.

Raveendran praised Mohan and said, “Arjun has done an outstanding job steering BYJU’S through a challenging period. We are grateful for his leadership and look forward to his continued contributions as a strategic advisor.”

The company will now consolidate its businesses into three main divisions: The Learning App, Online Classes & Tuition Centres, and Test-prep.
