Class 9 Girl Raped by Youngsters In Moving Car in MP, Blackmailed With Video

Gwalior: A 13-year-old Class 9 student was allegedly kidnapped and raped in a moving car in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior district in June 2024.

According to police sources, the incident occurred on the Gwalior-Shivpuri National Highway. The matter came to the fore when the family members of the victim came to know about it and lodged a complaint with the police.

Police have nabbed the two accused. They include the rapist and his accomplice who shot the video. The vehicle used for the crime has been seized. Search is on to nab the third accused in the case. The accused are aged between 18 and 20 years.

The accused also recorded a video of the sexual assault and circulated it on social media.

The 13-year-old girl, a Class 9 student, had befriended a youth from Chinour about a year ago, who later introduced her to his friends. They maintained contact through social media chat. On June 1, the accused came in a car with his two friends and abducted the girl.

One of the youths raped her on the back seat of the car. At that time another youth was driving the car; the other one was making a video of the incident.

Later the accused blackmailed the girl on the basis of the video and also threatened to kill her. When the girl did not listen to them, the accused made her video viral.
