Karnataka Police Detain Man for Helping 22 Pakistanis Live as Hindus in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Police have apprehended a man for allegedly aiding and sheltering 22 Pakistani nationals residing in Bengaluru and other regions of Karnataka under Hindu identities, as informed by police sources on Tuesday.

The investigation gained momentum after the arrest of four Pakistani citizens from a family in Jigani, located on the outskirts of Bengaluru. Following their interrogation, authorities arrested three additional Pakistani nationals in Peenya.

Further inquiries revealed that some Pakistanis were also residing in the Davangere district, where they have since been detained.

Cops discovered that the suspect, identified as Parvez, was facilitating the acquisition of official documents for these individuals under their altered names. The investigation is underway, with police confirming that Parvez is in custody.
