Tribal Singer Beaten to Death for Molesting Divyang Girl in Jharkhand

Ranchi: David Minz, a 35-year-old tribal singer was beaten to death for allegedly molesting a divyang girl in Jharkhand’s Ranchi district. Three persons have been arrested in connection with this murder case that happened at Tatkundo village, 30 km from the capital city Ranchi on Thursday evening.

Minz’s nagpuri songs were popular on social media. On Thursday evening Minz was ruthlessly beaten up by lathis by a group of persons, who alleged that he had molested a divyang girl of Tatkundo village.

Seriously injured Minz was first provided primary treatment at Mandar referral hospital and then he was shifted to the Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) in Ranchi, where he died during treatment.

Three relatives of the said divyang girl, were arrested on complaints of the victim’s wife.
