Woman Beaten to Death, Husband Injured in Keonjhar Dist

Keonjhar: A woman was allegedly thrashed to death while her husband was seriously injured in the Keonjhar district of Odisha. According to reports, this violent incident occurred at Khantaghara village under Ghatagaon police station limits. The police have taken two persons into custody in relation to the incident. A search is on to nab another accused.

It is suspected that some property related dispute led to this lethal attack on the couple.

The deceased was identified as Kuntala Nayak, and her husband was seriously injured.

Police have started an investigation into the incident.
