Woman Injures Drunk Man’s Genitals with Kitchen Spatula to Thwart His Forced Advances in Maharashtra

Mumbai: A woman injured the private parts of a 30-year-old man with a metal kitchen spatula to thwart his alleged unwanted advances in Maharashtra’s Thane district. , an official said on Saturday.

The injured man identified as Anil Satyanarayan Raccha was drunk when he tried to sexually assault the 26-year-old woman at her home in the Bhiwandi area of Thane district at 4.30 pm on Friday.

According to police sources, Raccha and the woman knew each other. On Friday afternoon, Raccha in an inebriated state reached her home and tried to make sexual advances. To protect herself, the woman cried for help and picked up a metal spatula from her kitchen to hit and injure Raccha’s genitals.

Seriously injured Raccha ran out of her house to seek medical help.

Following a complaint lodged by the woman, the Bhiwandi town police have registered a case against Raccha for outraging the modesty of a woman, sexual harassment and trespass under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
