Woman Killed by Family, Body Burnt in Rajasthan for Marrying Man of Her Choice

Jaipur: A 24-year-old woman was abducted and murdered by her own family members in Rajasthan’s Jhalawar for marrying a man of her choice defying their wish.

As per reports, the woman was abducted by her family members in front of her husband. She was later murdered and her body was burnt down.

The victim had married one Ravi Bheel against her family’s wishes. To escape the wrath of her family, the couple took shelter at different locations.

But the woman’s family managed to track her down. She was

abducted while the couple visited a bank in a Madhya Pradesh village.

Her body was being burnt when the husband reached the the police to file a complaint. By the time police seized the body, it was more than 80 per cent burnt. Her family members fled the spot.

The woman’s burnt remains were sent to the forensics for investigation.
