Class 3 Student Thrashed Brutally for Failing to Write Roll Number, Teacher Suspended in Rajasthan

Jaipur: A Class 3 student was thrashed brutally by a teacher in Rajasthan’s Barmer district as he could not write his roll number correctly.

When a local shared the incident on social media tagging the Rajsthan Education Minister in the post, immediate action was initiated through an order for the suspension of the concerned teacher.

The state education minister Madan Dilawar on Wednesday directed the District Education Officer Primary School, Barmer to suspend Level-1 teacher, Ganpat Patalia of Government Higher Primary School, Chauhtan with immediate effect for hitting the student brutally.

According to reports, the Class 3 student was beaten ruthlessly when he failed to write his roll number correctly. His face turned red and swollen following the beating at the hands of the teacher.
