UAV of Indian Air Force Crashes Near Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer, Probe Ordered

Jaipur: An Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) of the Indian Air Force crashed near Jaisalmer in Rajasthan during a routine sortie on Thursday.

The Indian Air Force has constituted a Court of Inquiry to find out the cause of the accident.

According to reports, a remotely piloted aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed in Pithala village in Jaisalmer district, the IAF said on Thursday. According to the IAF, no damage to any personnel or property was reported.

In a post on X, the IAF said, “One Remotely Piloted Aircraft of the Indian Air Force met with an accident near Jaisalmer today during a routine training sortie.’

“No damage to any personnel or property has been reported. A Court of Inquiry has been constituted to find out the cause of the accident,” the IAF added.
