Karnataka Govt Requests CBI to Seek Other Countries’ Help to Track Down Prajwal Revanna

New Delhi: Karnataka government requested the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to seek the help of other countries to track down JDS leader Prajwal Revanna, who is accused of allegedly raping several women.

Revanna is the grandson of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda. He escaped out of India after videos showing him allegedly harassing women went viral on social media.

On Saturday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi wrote to Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, requesting him to provide all possible help to the victims in the case.

This sex-scandal involves explicit videos that were allegedly shot by the MP. A woman has filed a police complaint against Prajwal Revanna, alleging that the JD-S leader sexually exploited her multiple times between 2019 and 2022.
