Woman Stabbed to Death at Busy Howrah Station

Kolkata:  A woman named Rivu Biswas was stabbed to death at the crowded Howrah railway station on Wednesday.

The accused, Mungesh Yadav, also tried to attack the RPF personnel and other passengers, who tried to snatch away the knife from his hand. He was overpowered and arrested by the police.

Yadav and the husband of the deceased, Pintu Biswas worked in the same office in Mumbai.

According to police sources, the Biswas couple and Yadav came together to Howrah station. When Pintu Biswas went out to buy something from a nearby shop, Yadav suddenly took out a knife from his bag and stabbed Rivu Biswas repeatedly.

Although she was rushed to a nearby hospital, the doctors declared her brought dead.
