Odisha Govt Invites Applications For Free UPSC Coaching, Exam to be Held Offline in 5 Zones

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Higher Education Department (DHE) has released a notification sharing details regarding the scheme for free Civil Services (UPSC) coaching to eligible candidates domiciled in the state. According to the official notification released, applicants must be between 21 and 30 years of age as of February 1, 2024, and hold a minimum qualification of graduation or its equivalent.

This scheme offers a golden opportunity to 200 aspirants, who will be selected based on a pre-qualifying entrance examination. The examination, overseen by the State Selection Board, Higher Education Department, will reserve approximately 33 percent of seats for women candidates, promoting gender inclusivity.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must have a graduation degree or equivalent qualification.
• Age limit: 21-30 years as of February 1, 2024.
• Women candidates will enjoy 33% reservation in each category.

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted through a pre-qualifying entrance exam conducted offline by the State Selection Board (Higher Education Department).
