Aftab Shivdasani, Urvashi Rautela Together in Sequel of ‘Kasoor’

Mumbai: Aftab Shivdasani announced that he will return to the silver screen in the sequel of ‘Kasoor’ which will have Urvashi Rautela as the female lead.

Aftab’s 2001 film ‘Kasoor’ with Lisa Ray was a hit and its songs are still popular.

Aftab has started shooting for ‘Kasoor’ sequel. He shared photos of himself from the film’s sets.

The sequel of ‘Kasoor’ is said to be a psychological horror story about three characters. The film is directed by Glen Barretto and written by Mudassar Aziz. The additional male lead actor of the movie will be confirmed soon.

Confirming the sequel of ‘Kasoor’, producer Asif Shaikh said, “It’s a very unique concept—a musical romance horror. When Aftab heard the story, he was very excited about the subject. The audience will see Aftab Shivdasani in a very different role on the silver screen. It’s an author-backed role, and we are in the process of finalizing one female lead and another male lead alongside Aftab. The announcement for these roles will follow soon.”

The film’s release date hasn’t been decided yet.
