Actor Aftab Shivdasani falls Prey to Cyber Fraud, Loses Rs 1.5 Lakh

Mumbai: Cyber frauds conned Bollywood actor Aftab Shivdasani and took away Rs 1.50 lakh from his account.

According to police sources, Aftab on Sunday received a text message asking to update his Know Your Customer (KYC) details linked to a leading private sector bank.

When the actor Shivdasani clicked on the link provided in the message and followed the instructions, he received a message that Rs 1,49,999 had been debited from his account.

Aftab filed a case in this connection at Bandra police station on Monday.
