Ranbir Kapoor to Quit Alcohol, Meat to Play Lord Ram in ‘Ramayan’

Mumbai: As per reports Ranbir Kapoor will quit alcohol and meat to play the lead role of Lord Ram in Nitish Tiwari’s upcoming film ‘Ramayan’.

He will resort to this to be ‘as pure as Ram’ in the film.

According to the source, the ‘Ramayan’ by Nitish Tiwari will be a trilogy. The first part of the trilogy will tell the epic story of Lord Ram and Sita up to the event of Sita Haran.

The shooting of the first part will continue from February to August 2024.

The Oscar-winning company, DNEG, is said to be working on the VFX of the movie.

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor’s next film ‘Animal’ will be released on December 1.
